Data Storage and Server Architecture

• The system uses Upsilon Dynamics HyperXeon Data Platform Lite technology.


• Although the system comes with an Access Database, it can be configured to use many other commercial available database systems for scability and performance reasons including:
  
  
  • Access
  • SQLite (Single Client Use Only)
  • SQL Server Express, 2003 and 2005
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • DB2
  • PostGreSQL
  
  *(We dont provide database licensing, this must be already taken care of)


• Data is securely transmitted using encryption and compression.


• Data can easily be backed up; methods depend on your Database choice.
